On the afternoon of November 19th, WU Zhaohui, President of Zhejiang University, met with a delegation from the University of Edinburgh led by Principal Peter Mathieson in Zijingang Campus. PENG Jinrong, Dean of College of Life Sciences, ZJU attended the meeting.
The two presidents reviewed the cooperation of ZJU – UoE Institute, and held a talk about the prospects for comprehensive strategic cooperation in more fields. After the introduction of the existing cooperation and intention of establishing a research center in the field of life sciences by PENG Jinrong, the two presidents concurred that the two universities should set up a research and transformation platform as soon as possible so as to promote research partnership.
